THE CENTRE
Ananse Village
is located on the top of a small hill, on the bank of a stream,
surrounded by the forest and the cocoa farms. The centre is made up of
five double rooms, one kitchen and a big summer hut where classes take
place.
All beds are provided with mosquito nets. Showers and toilets are shared.
Like in the rest of the
area there's no electricity at the centre: we have solar and kerosene
lanterns, and a generator that we use on special occasions... There's a
gas-powered refrigerator as well. Our hope for the future is to install
solar panels that will provide us with clean and sustainable energy.
At the present time we
can accommodate a maximum of eight people, but there's a lot of place
if you want to put up your tent, or rent one of ours.
